Dr. Ryan L. Maurer was born and raised in New Jersey. He earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University in 2013 before attending optometry school. Dr. Maurer graduated from MCPHS University School of Optometry in 2018, completing externships at OMNI Eye Services and Offen Eye Associates both in New Jersey. During optometry school, Dr. Maurer was an active member of the American Optometric Student Association, Vice President of the Private Practice Club, and was honored as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Maurer completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery with Omni Eye Services in 2019 through Salus University and is currently a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, the American Academy of Optometry, and the American Optometric Association.
Total Eye Care, Levittown is where I go for my annual eye exams. The staff there are phenomenal. I finally decided to get LASIK, and had my surgery yesterday. The procedure itself was pain free and now I have 20/15 vision (better than when I used glasses or contacts). I couldn’t be happier with my decision for LASIK, and could not have chosen a better group. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a professional team for their eye health needs.
