Microdermabrasion is an effective treatment to minimize scarring, pigmentation problems, dull skin and acne. As we age our skin does not exfoliate as quickly and builds up a thick outer layer. This buildup inhibits new cells from being produced that creates that dull and sallow look.
Microdermabrasion works using a variable-level vacuum system and an assortment of treatment tips, to gently remove superficial layers of the skin with no downtime, thus encouraging the skin to produce new, healthy and vibrant cells. The skin is left smoother and softer as the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow, cleans the pores, after your first treatment. All skin types can gain benefit from this treatment and since there are no chemicals it is suitable during pregnancy. With a series of microdermabrasion treatments, you can achieve more 
youthful and radiant skin. Microdermabrasion is commonly used in combination with other treatments such as chemical peels, Intense Pulse Light Treatments, and Laser Peels, to maximize the results.
